Couple of years ago we added a shower stall for a bathroom in our home, and we find having a shower stall is more useful for our family. We built a barrier that gives us the option of being able to fill the shower stall with water. I found this OXO 5" silicone tub stopper allows us to effectively seal the drain to fill the shower stall with water if we want. The suction cup secures the stopper to the floor when we use it. I like that when we are not using the stopper, we can use the suction cup to store it upright.

Organizing with Kilner
The original Kilner jar invented by John Kilner and Co in the 1840's has stood the test of time for over 150 years. Although, the design has been updated, they have kept the unique vacuum feature that helps keep our blends, preserves, and pickles fresh. I find the Kilner jars can be used in lots of different ways, not just to store preserves and pickles.
I used a variety of different sized Kilner Jars to organize my kitchen pantry.

The Keyless Future with Schlage
The hassle of losing or forgetting house keys or any set of keys can be very cumbersome and nerve wracking. Imagine a life without keys? I think with our busy active lifestyles it is sometimes best not to worry about the simple things such as house keys. This keyless future is currently sitting on my front door! We installed a Schlage Touch Keyless Touchscreen Deadbolt recently and have been surprised and happy about how stylish, easy, practical, and functional it is.

Organizing using Chalkboard Tape
I enjoyed using removable chalkboard tape and organizing. This is an easy and practical way to organize anything we want.
I usually use this drawer to put different things, so I like having this removable chalkboard tape on the drawers. This allows me to write what is inside the drawers, erase and rewrite when I change the content.

Drink in the Box: Healthier, Safer and Better
I like having eco-friendly options that allow my family and I to make healthier, safer, and better choices. Drink in the Box allows us to make this choice! By using Drink in the Box, we can be environmentally conscious and enjoy fresh juice or milk. We can buy large containers of juice and fill this box or make delicious healthier juice at home, instead of buying individual packs of juice that fill landmines and adds extra expense.

Automate Your Home with WeMo
I have heard about the terms "Internet of Things" and Home
Automation, but never expected to try them out myself so soon. What
if all the gadgets in your home can connect to the Internet and be
controlled by you with the help of your smartphone or tablet?
Sounds a bit scary but with the popularity of the Internet,
smartphones, and in home Wi-Fi the future is headed in that
direction. I have been wanting to find out how home automation can
benefit us with the simple things that we use day-to-day and
improve our lifestyle.
