As a member of the Netflix StreamTeam, my family and I are looking back and reflecting on our Netflix moments of this year. We have used Netflix shows to start conversations, persuade family and friends to watch what we like, and streamed smarter using Google.

I have been waiting to learn the craft of tatting, however I couldn't find the tools at any of the stores in Ontario. I searched it up on Amazon.ca and was super excited that it was available to purchase.

Walking with Confidence on Slippery Surfaces

I was able to see how safe and reliable it was to walk on the icy surfaces wearing slip-resistant boots that has Vibram Arctic Grip at the Mark's Well Worn ice runway pop-up event at CF Eaton Centre. Did you know 20,000 people in Ontario go to Emergency Rooms yearly due to slips related to ice and snow? This makes, it utmost important for us to pay more attention to the boots we wear. 

Hands on origami kits

Origami kits are a fun way to start folding creative models right away as the kits include the instructions and material we need to get started. We have been trying to use the below activity packed kits to get creative. We found that the instructions could be a little clearer, so beginners can follow it easily to make the beautiful nature inspired origami.

We enjoyed spending a day at Bingemans. It is a fabulous place for everyone in the family to enjoy indoor activities from bowling to arcades and play structures. There are several stocking stuffer packages we can purchase at Bingemans that would make wonderful gifts for anyone you know.

We love using the Home Right Steam Machine model O53 to clean a variety of surfaces in our home. We found this to be a natural, green way to clean and sanitize our home.

Knitted Cozy Slippers

These handmade knitted slippers are beginner friendly. I used Phentex Slipper and Craft Yarn that makes these slippers feel durable and warm. With this pattern we can personalize each of the slippers by choosing different colour combinations. The slipper stretches, so keep this in mind when you are casting on.
