Dragons Race to the Edge is on Netflix

My family and I had an exciting time when we went to the screening party for Dragons Race to the Edge in Toronto hosted by Netflix. Since we watched the first two episodes at the event, my children being Dragons fans couldn't wait to finish watching the rest of the episodes. They completed watching all the episodes and enjoyed each one of them.

Engaging Craft Books

While at home for the summer holidays, it is fun to engage our children with crafts. My children and I checked out three new creative books that have lots of ideas on how we can use things from around our home.

The Cat in the Hat Read and Learn

The Cat in the Hat, Read and Learn is an animated, interactive, and educational app for children ages 3 to 6. This program has been developed in collaboration with parents, kids, and educational experts. It will be available starting July 16th. Every page is animated and includes tap, and drag animations to bring the story to life.

Kanex MiColor Accessories

With a lot of Apple devices in the household you cannot have too many lightning cables. Standard Lightning cables that come with Apple devices are not particular strong and can be a little delicate. The Kanex MiColor ChargeSync USB cable with LED Lightning Connector comes in Silver to complement the color of the latest iPhones. The cable is braided with nylon fiber, which makes it slightly thicker and stronger and is durable for everyday use. 

Making a Trellis DIY Project

In spring, we made a v-shaped Trellis for our Clematis. It is cheaper to make a trellis with only a few materials compared to buying one. For this project, I haven't provided exact measurements because you can adjust the length of the wood according to where you want to place the trellis for example in a deep pot or against the fence etc. The measurements also depend on what type of plant you want to use the trellis for such as Clematis, Jasmine etc. Hope the pictures and the instructions below will inspire you to make your own trellis and save some money.

I love using DecoArt Glass Paint Markers. With some imagination these smooth flowing, quality fine-tip markers can be used for a variety of things. It is easy to use the markers to personalize gifts,  decorate, and create unique pieces of art. The markers have a glossy finish and it is available in 14 vibrant colours. I tried the Black, Fuchsia, Brown, Green, Gold, Silver, and Turquoise. It is simple to use the markers, all we have to do is shake it up, remove the cap, and initially press down on the tip for the ink to flow to the tip before decorating.

Eyewitness Human Body shows everything we need to know about the body from the smallest cell to the systems that keep us alive. It also has information about how, when and who started researching about different parts of the human body. These educational books gives details with images on how everything works.

The Adventurous UE MEGABOOM

Say Hello to Logitech Ultimate Ears’ latest addition to its award winning line of portable wireless speakers, the UE MEGABOOM. It is designed to be a premium portable Bluetooth speaker in every way. If product packaging is an indicator of brand quality, the UE Megaboom’s packaging certainly makes its case. The speaker is enclosed in a large plastic cylinder with a carry on handle. Pulling the tab open from the side reveals the speaker and the bright yellow Micro-USB Wall charger. Since the UE MEGABOOM comes in different colours such as charcoal black, lava red, electric blue, and plum UE could have matched the colour of the wall charger with the speaker instead of standard yellow for all.

Teen Beach 2 is on DVD

The waves have finally settled in and Teen Beach 2 has arrived on DVD. It is packed with songs, dance numbers, and never-before-seen bonus features. The DVD comes with an exclusive friendship necklace that my daughter really likes. The movie takes place after the summer break and when school begins, as Brady and Mack’s relationship seems headed for a wipeout, until Lela, Tanner and the "Wet Side Story" kids show up.
