Watching Toopy and Binoo When They Visited Our Town

My children enjoy watching Toopy and Binoo on TV, and were excited to see them performing at the Sony Centre. We enjoyed the theatrical musical show as Toopy and Binoo tried to look for the perfect song. The songs were catchy and we enjoyed singing along as well.

We had a fabulous experience @Disneyonice Rockin' Ever After

The opening night at Disney on Ice in the Rogers Centre was totally Rockin'.  We had an awesome time.  The show started off with a fast paced, upbeat rock and roll musical that was exciting to watch.  Special guests like Pinocchio and Cinderella's stepsisters joined Mickey and the clubhouse members in the beginning of the show.  My son said he liked it every time Mickey came to the stage.  The four stories highlighted at the Rockin' Ever After show was about Ariel, Rapunzel, Merida and Belle.

What we enjoyed about The Berenstain Bears Musical

My children and we enjoyed the wonderful story line of The Berenstain Bears show at the Living art Centre.  The lighting, music, conversation and special effects at the show made it lively.  My children said their favourite part was when Papa bear was telling brother and sister bear the bedtime story about not talking to strangers.
Before the show began, the audience was asked to take a clubhouse oath to not eat in the theatre or take pictures of the performance.  We were able to take pictures outside the theatre with brother and sister bear.  After the show children were provided with juice and a granola bar.

We sat in the balcony of the RBC theatre in the side edge, which made it very uncomfortable to enjoy the hour-long show.  I believe theatre should be visible and fun from all angles.  There is no designated seating so we can sit wherever we want on the levels printed on our tickets.  Many people like us didn't know about this and found it uncomfortable to watch the show from the top-side angle.  Next time when we plan on a show at the RBC theatre we would go inside the theatre a little earlier to secure comfortable seats.  Despite our seating we enjoyed the show.

Disney's live show Phineas and Ferb was entertaining

We had a fabulous time watching Disney's live performance, Phineas and Ferb when they came to Roger's Centre, Toronto last weekend.  This show was very entertaining and engaging for children and adults.  We liked the music, energy, the songs, costumes and the liveliness of the show.
About 10 minutes before the show started some of the performers got our attention by asking questions related to Phineas and Ferb.  My daughter knew the answer from the TV series, which made her more excited.
My son was looking forward to see Perry from the start, so he was excited when Perry the Platypus entered the show in the midst of the audience with lights flashing and bodyguards around him.
My son's favourite part was the Bollywood dance; he found it quite funny and was laughing about it even after the show.

The backdrop (or cyclorama) was very original and I liked how they incorporated it to the show.
When the characters came into the stage.
When Perry was talking.
Perry and Dr. Doofenshmirtz fighting with lightsabers
Perry fighting with the bad guys and ninjas.
The monster truck, that resembles the Monster Jam trucks.  I will be posting about that soon.
My daughter likes the part when the "busted" song was played.  My husband and I really enjoyed all the parts, especially when Candace was controlled by the machine and she acted like Vicki from the 80s TV show Small Wonder.
The show kept the audience engaged throughout, as some goodies were thrown for the audience to catch, balls bounced and in the end there were glittery paper thrown in the VIP section.  Some children from the VIP section were also asked to come on stage to dance.  I thought it was well choreographed that it put me in the mood to start planning for summer :)

Our fun experience @Disneyonice World of Fantasy

We had a fabulous time admiring the talent of wonderful skaters, the creative stories, lighting and the colourful costumes at the World of Fantasy Disney on Ice show.  We were excited throughout the show and it is a memorable experience.  The members of the Disney clubhouse introduced the Cars.  My son was thrilled to watch the cars racing all over the ice
After the Cars came the fairies from Pixie Hollow that kept us entertained.
It was cool when Tinker Bell was putting the pixie dust all over while she was flying.
My daughter's favourite part was during the little mermaid Ariel's performance, when Sebastian the red crab was clapping his hands and singing.  I liked the special effects of the bubbles during the show.

I really like the second half of the show when the characters from Toy Story performed.  It brought back memories of the types of toys I owned and used to play with.
We all enjoyed watching Barbie, Ken, Buzz, Woody, the green army and all the characters from Toy Story performed.
The musical performance with all the extra effects was fabulous.  World of Fantasy Disney on Ice show will be performing until December 30th at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Cheerful holiday show Max and Ruby in the Nutcracker Suite

We had an exciting and superb time watching Max and Ruby in the Nutcracker Suite at the Sony Centre on December 15th.
My children and we were very happy to watch the cutely presented story of the Nutcracker as Max and Ruby's grandma tells her grandchildren the story.
Max and Ruby imagine everything that happens in the Nutcracker story.
My daughter said her favourite part was when the Arabian dancers performed.
My sons favourite part was when the snowman came.
The musical show, the lights and dancing kept us entertained the whole time :)  It is a cheerful show that is perfect for the holiday season.

The other episodes will be about learning international cuisine, mastering knife skills, combining flavours, upscale takes on entrées, recreating dishes using taste smell and appearance as guidance, learning to make a variety of seafood, and cooking food for kids loved ones and mentors.

The season finale is on Sunday April 8th at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In which the two most improved contestants will make their own menu and be judged by culinary experts David Burke, Marcus Samuelsson and Susan Feniger. The winner will get $25000.
