Drink Better Live Better a Lifestyle Change We Plan to Make

nestle pure life

My family and I are joining other Canadian families in the movement to make healthy hydration choices, to #DrinkBetterLiveBetter. Water is in the core of our existence and has the most essential nutrients needed for life. Drinking water regularly can help our overall wellbeing. What we drink is just as important as what we eat, so making this lifestyle change has lots of benefits.

Tracking Our Weight with Conair

This Solid Teak Digital Weight Watchers Scale by Conair is functional and looks fabulous in the bathroom. I like that the scale is made with sustainably harvested solid teak, which adds a stylish, spa touch to the bathroom. The scale is not only naturally beautiful, but also is water and fungi-resistant. This scale is 11.75" x 13.5" large enough to comfortably stand and the scale weighs up to 350 lbs.

Sesame Street Presents The Body at Ontario Science Centre

My children are at a curious age where learning about their bodies fascinate them. We were happy to check out the new Sesame Street Presents The Body exhibition at the Ontario Science Centre, which will be open until May 5th, and is free with general admission.
My children had an awesome time learning and exploring about the body at this colourful, child friendly exhibition. The whole exhibition was set up as though we were at Sesame Street, which we enjoyed.

The beginning of a New Year is when most of us make new resolutions to start or continue things that benefit us. I started off this year with a few resolutions and one of them is to learn about and concentrate on having a healthier lifestyle. Kid Friendly and Parent Pleasing Kandoo® Personal Care Products

Kandoo® makes getting clean fun for kids. Both my children and I really like the cute, unique shape of the containers. We like that the bottle can be kept to sit snuggly in the corner of the tub for children to use easily. Kandoo hand soap and body wash pump out bright, colourful foam that show kids when they are covered with soap, this ensures they are getting a good clean. Getting toddlers to wash their hands or take a bath can be a challenge sometimes especially when it feels cold in the morning. Having a product like Kandoo that looks fun and foamy encourages children to use it.

New Tortilla Popchips and Healthy Tips

We really enjoy popchips and glad to see their new tortilla popchips, which are made with stoneground corn masa without any preservatives, artificial flavours or colour.  These cholesterol free chips are packed with natural flavours, without the extra calories. I think popchips are a healthier lunchbox and snack alternative as it has 0 grams of trans fat.
My children and we enjoy the delicious flavours of the tortilla popchips; our favourite is the salsa flavour. We enjoy snacking on these flavourful, delicious, healthier alternative chips that are not greasy. I think these naturally popped tortilla popchips are a healthy snack option for everyone.

Krill Oil is a step in the right direction to be healthy

My husband has always believed that it is healthy to take fish oil.  However, we couldn't find something that was free of animal derived gelatin.  When I saw the Krill Oil from Everest Nutrition made with fish gelatin, my husband was very excited and wanted to give it a try.  He has been using the pure cold pressed Antarctic Krill Oil for a few months now, and believes that it is making a difference.  I am convinced as well and want to give it a try soon.  He had joint pains on his knee, which he thinks has gone away due to his intake of Krill Oil with a combination of other healthy lifestyle changes.

Many people believe that the Omega-3 fatty acids and Astaxanthin found in the Krill Oil helps nourishes our body by leading it to have a stronger heart, pain-free joints, a better mood, mental concentration, lower cholesterol, easier menstruation and overall better health.
It is recommended to take 2 capliques everyday with breakfast for adults and 1 caplique for children over the age of 6 years.
This Everest Nutrition Krill Oil is harvested from the pure waters of Antarctica.  It is guaranteed to be fresh because it is made in FDA approved facilities that adhere to strict GMP standards.  The Krill Oil lasts longer because it is in a caplique instead of in a softgel, so it reduces fish burps and bad breath that is associated with fish oil.
This Krill Oil from Everest Nutrition is sustainable because it is harvested by following regulations set by the Convention on the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR).  The CCAMLR is dedicated to conserving the oceans ecosystem.

Tips of becoming healthier:
  • Eat right and exercise.
  • Avoid “deadly sins” of smoking, alcohol, too much coffee and other things that can harm your body.
  • Find time to relax.
  • Get adequate sleep.
  • Using these tips and having Krill Oil supplements can help us stay healthy.
