The first ever WE Day Family Event in Toronto

I have been attending We Day for the past five years, as I love what this movement is doing to help others both within the community, as well as around the world. I truly believe that as individuals we can do lots to help others. This inspiring movement brings people together and gives them the tools to change the world. This year, for the first time Craig and Marc Kielburger have introduced WE Day Family, as they recognize that families have the power to change the world.

Celebrating the season with Pumpkin

It is pumpkin season and we love it! It is one of our favourite harvests of the season. We usually enjoy it by making a savoury side dish, making soup with it, and baking whoopie pies and buns with it. This year my children got busy scooping out the seeds that we turned into a delicious snack to enjoy when watching Netflix.

Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience

We enjoyed the IMAX Experience of watching the Voyage of Time, the new film from acclaimed American filmmaker Terrence Malick and IMAX Entertainment. Starting October 22 the film will screen on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. at the Ontario Science Centre.

Recently, we shared how we brought our garage door to life using the Chamberlain MyQ Garage Door Controller that we find very handy. When we use the app to close the garage door it makes a loud beeping sound to warn that it is closing, and we feel that this sound can attract attention. We were able to truly go "zoom zoom" on this new 2017 Mazda CX-3. We enjoyed its smooth performance as we test drove it. It is a compact vehicle with all the features we need and more. It was perfect for our family of four for everyday use. There was enough cargo space for grocery shopping and small trips.
