Extendable Self-portrait Shutter Stick

With smartphones being so popular these days, everyone I know owns one and they all use it to take pictures all the time. For most, their smartphone is the only camera they use. However, the photos taken on it is limited to our arms length. To solve this dilemma a device is created :) and I got a chance to check out the TaoTronics TT-SH10 Extendable Self-portrait Wireless Bluetooth Remote Shutter Stick Monopod for smartphones also known as the "selfie stick." We love using this device.

Strauss WaterBar is Refreshingly Different

Walking through the Strauss Water Bar at the Green Living Show, I was reminded how important drinking water is for us. Although, I know how important it is to drink water, and how critical it is for our bodily functions, we don't drink enough. The first glass of water in the morning before having any other beverages such as coffee, tea, juice is so important for our health. This glass of water helps us to wake our sleeping body and energize it.

The t-shirt is made using 100% cotton with a patented hydrophobic nanotechnology application that repels dirt and liquids leaving the surface of the fabric crisp, dry, and without stains for up to around 50 washes.

Our March Break Experience at Toronto Athletic Camps

tac sports camp
My children enjoyed their much anticipated March Break week at TAC Sports Camp. They loved how they were able to choose a different sport each day, and got a chance to explore basketball, soccer, and tennis. By the end of the active March Break week of fun my children were able to tell us what their favourite sport was and how each of them want to explore these sports further.

Using Washi Tape as Frames

We recently painted our children's room, and to personalize the space we wanted to display art work that my children did on the wall. I used Washi tape to frame around the canvas. This way we can remove and switch the painting as we want and update the wall display without a hassle.

Taotronics Bluetooth Shower Speaker

Ever wanted to listen to music or answer phone calls in the shower? Well, then your problems are solved because the TaoTronics TT-SK03 is a water resistant wireless bluetooth stereo shower speaker that is a great little device that does it all. I like this compact built, stylish device made with a rubbery material on the outside. It has a suction cup that we can use to attach to any slippery flat surface.

Win and Explore Crayola Colour Alive

Crayola has launched an exciting new virtual colouring experience called Colour Alive, which allows children to bring their colouring creations to life and interact with them using a smartphone or tablet. Like a classic colouring page, Colour Alive starts on paper, where children can let their imaginations run wild, and customize characters with their own colours and patterns, then merge them with special colour effects on compatible iOS, Android, and Windows devices.

The Peace and Love Train book Teaches About Acceptance

We enjoyed reading The Peace and Love Train book written by Tyler Kincaid. The author wrote this book with the assistance of her 12-year-old granddaughter Kiley. She was inspired to write and publish this book because of her brother, who is developmentally disabled. I really like how this book encourages children, and reminds adults the importance of acceptance, patience and true humanity.
