We love shopping online! There are a few reasons, why my family and I love to shop online and have been doing this more frequently in the recent past. With online shopping, we can conveniently buy what we want, when we want without trying to beat traffic, driving to a store and looking for the items in the shelves, or carrying the items and standing in line. Especially with the busy lifestyle, making purchases online is quick - simply search for the items and buy it - and the products get delivered right to our front door. Also, depending on the items, it is quite easy to return without regretting the purchasing decision.

Taking Some Time Off for "Me Time"

No matter how busy we get, my husband and I give ourselves "me time". During these bits of time we make for ourselves, we not only do activities that are fun for us, but also take the time to catch up on our favourite Netflix shows and movies.

We love DK Eyewitness books, as they are a wealth of knowledge. This series of books are good educational resources. It comes in handy when doing homework, research projects, improving reading of reluctant readers and English as a Second Language students. Importantly these books satisfy the minds of curious children, as it answers their questions.

A planer is a really useful tool to have, as it has lots of varying uses. The DEWALT DCP580B 20V Max Brushless planer we are using is the cordless version, and it comes as a bare tool without any batteries. Since, most of our power tools are Dewalt we already have batteries to go with them. It is always best to use 3 Ah batteries or greater, so there is enough power to get the job done.

The Art of Weaving

Weaving is a craft I remember doing as a child using ribbons, construction paper, and wool. My daughter started enjoying weaving about four years ago when she did an activity at Michaels, and when she made the scarf using the Weaved Threadz kit. From a young age, my daughter has weaved using wool, yarn, thread, and once on vacation we used leaves from a coconut tree. We find weaving to be a relaxing meditative craft that is fun and the end results are rewarding.
