Our Garage transformation using Rust-oleum Epoxy Shield #DIY

Rust-oleum Epoxy Shield garage flooring
We have a detached garage, which we haven't made use of much other than storing belongings. Last summer, we realized the value of having an extended separate space especially as our interests and hobbies have grown. Due to our love for DIY projects, woodworking, gardening, and crafts, we decided to change our garage space to fully utilize and accommodate these interests.

Adrien Gagnon Health Products
My family and I try to eat healthy to ensure that we get the vitamins we need through our meals. However, sometimes I feel we don't get adequate vitamins and iron naturally and need to take supplements. Recently, we have been trying a few of Adrien Gagnon natural health products.

The Entomica Insectarium in Sault Ste. Marie

Entomica Insectarium in Sault Ste. Marie
I am glad my family and I visited the Entomica insectarium in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The visit helped us see how insects are important for vegetation, wildlife, and the eco-system. Getting to take an up-close look at the different insects during the tour by an expert in the insectarium really helped us see how each insect is unique. We enjoyed touching, holding, and observing the different insects from around the world. I felt this visit has helped us to become more empathetic towards insects.

Canal Historic Site in Sault Ste. Marie

Canal Historic Site in Sault Ste. Marie
During our recent road trip to Sault Ste. Marie, my family and I enjoyed visiting the Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site. We can learn about how canals and locks operate at this site either by discovering at our leisure or joining a guided tour. By taking the guided tour and exploring the visitor's centre we learned a lot about the lock system and canals.

Our Visit to Grundy Lake Provincial Park

grundy lake provincial park
We loved our hikes at Grundy Lake Provincial Park because of the beautiful scenic views from every angle! Other than the bothersome flies, we enjoyed the peaceful scenic views, listening to the birds, and the sound of the frogs croaking. Our children loved the cliffs and the adventure of climbing them.

Sockeye Salmon Fish Cakes

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Loblaws Companies Inc.. All opinions are 100% mine.
sockeye salmon
My family and I enjoy a variety of seafood items because of their nutritional benefits and flavour. My usual sockeye salmon recipes involve baking it, making a curry with gravy, or incorporating it into short-eats. During our trip last year to Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, we enjoyed delicious fish cakes by the sea and I wanted to replicate making them at home. I used fresh, in-season salmon for this recipe. I like the firm texture and the sweet flavour of this fish.

Please Be Nice to Sharks written by Matt Weiss has fascinating facts about the ocean's most misunderstood creatures. The targeted audience for this book is children 6 to 10 years. After reading this book, readers will understand how important it is for us to care for sharks. Many people think sharks are vicious man-eaters however, the author mentions that in reality they have killed fewer than 10 people a year mostly surfboards mistaken for seals. The source of sharks' food is tiny fish and plankton because most sharks don't have teeth.
