Made from Earth Body and Hair Care Products

made from earth shampoo
I have used Made from Earth products before and like it because the products are made using natural ingredients. Their skin and hair care products are organic, holistic, and healthy. I like that I can use the products without fearing the unknown chemical and animal product. I find the products are gentler in the skin, and does not clog pores, it is less irritant, unscented, not heavy or greasy.

I believe food plays a powerful role in building and keeping communities together. We see this both in times of celebration, as well as in times of hardship. On a regular basis, many of us help our own and other communities by either donating to food banks, charities, or simply cooking or baking and sharing with others.

msr tyker kids snowshoes
Exploring winter scenery is lots of fun when it is done in snowshoes. Since snowshoes provide flotation, we can walk on top of snow easily and not sink. I think having proper snowshoes for children makes it a fun experience for them, so everyone in the family can go on fun excursions. My children have been using the MSR Tyker and Shift Youth snowshoes, which are especially designed for children because of its lightweight, durable, and safety features.

Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age at Ontario Science Centre

Discover the science behind Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age exhibit at the Ontario Science Centre running until April 24th, 2016. At the exhibition we can learn how researchers use cutting edge science to excavate and analyze tusks, teeth, skin, hair, and stomach contents to learn about these creatures that once lived side-by-side with humans for thousands of years both in colder northern territories, as well as different ecosystems throughout the world including Ontario. The exhibition uncovers the connecting factors that contributed to their evolution and extinction, such as climate change, human predation, and other factors.
