Transformers Rescue Bots: Mystery Rescue

Transformers Rescue Bots: Mystery Rescue came on DVD in early September. My children enjoyed watching the episodes, as Rescue Bots, Chase, Heatwave, Blades and Bolder charged on protecting the town of Griffin Rock. Transformers had to rely on their courage and friendship. These Transformers got help from a family of first responders. The chief among them is a young boy named Cody, it is fun to watch the suspense as Cody and the Rescue Bot confront ghosts, mind control, gremlins and more.

The Latest Collection of Disney Junior's Acclaimed Emmy®-Nominated Animated Series, Doc McStuffins: School of Medicine arrived on Disney DVD September 9th. My children are fans of Doc McStuffins and enjoy the episodes. I like my children watching this show because Doc McStuffins episodes role model about compassion and good health. This DVD includes an exclusive Doc McStuffins dress up play set.

Easy to make delicious Madeleines

This Madeleine recipe is one of my favourites. I make it often because it is made with a few ingredients and I can make the mixture ahead of time and leave it in the fridge until I am ready to bake. These are perfect snacks to cozy up during cool evenings with a cup of coffee or warm milk. These yummy Madeleines would also be wonderful to enjoy during the Thanksgiving weekend when families get together.

As our little ones have gone back to school, it is a good time for our children to brush up on some basic skills starting from the beginning of the year. These titles available on Netflix are good shows to watch after a busy day at school to relax and do some fun learning.

With the start of a new school year, I think it is important to set some routines for our children around doing some extra practice after school. This routine is very important to us, especially since the school my children attend don't give homework due to the no homework policy. There are so many places to see within downtown Montreal, and I am glad we went to check out the Pointe-à-Callière Montreal Museum of Archaeology and History that had the temporary exhibit of the epic journey of Marco Polo, as well as many fun permanent exhibits. It was fun for us to learn and see how the archaeologist go deep underground.

As a parent, I think it helps if we give some thought about our children's education from the time they are young instead of waiting for the days when it gets closer for them to go to university or college. Starting to save when they are small also takes off a load of stress in the future when they need the money for education.
