Wallpops calendar

wallpops calendar
Do you sometimes feel like you don't remember what is on when, and can't find the date book on time so you forget important things and end up missing it? Well this keeps happening to me, so I am glad I started using Wallpops!

After using these decorative Wallpops, I found it easier to stay organized.  This is an eco-friendly solution compared to the paper calendars.

I found it easy to write it down the important things that were coming up 4 months at a time. I placed it closer to my work area so it was on the wall loud and clear. It looks pretty and efficient.

It was easier for other family members to put down things that might be important for all of us to see so we are all on the same page and won't have conflicting things to attend on the same day, which usually happens :)

Zinnia 4 piece calendar set

It is easy to peel and stick the Wallpops vertically on a smooth wall. These decorative calendars do not spoil or damage the wall. Wallpops can easily be removed and replaced in a different place if needed.  Each calendar in this kit is 13"x 13".  It is made in USA.

These 4 calendars come with a dry eraser marker that has a small peel and stick gadget to make it stick on the wall for convenience.  After a few hours, some of the writing done with the marker faintly went off; this didn't bother me too much because the writing was still visible.

As always with life, dates change so having an erasable calendar like this keeps things clean and organized without confusion.

If you are looking for a fun, functional way to keep yourself and your family stay organized without forgetting important things then take a look at the wide selection of Wallpops, which are available at office supply stores and online.

Wallpops are a wonderful solution to stay organized.  Here is short video of the wall pops.

Kidorable hangers

My children like helping me organize most times :) They were really excited to see these cool looking hangers from Kidorable.
These handcrafted wooden hangers are beautiful.  Kidorable has used very vibrant colours.  My daughter said she likes these hangers compared to her regular ones because its colourful.  She hangs her special clothes in these :)
We chose this transportation set, which isn't totally gender specific.  This set of hangers come with 6 hangers; I gave each of my children 3.   My daughter and son chose the 3 that they liked to put in their closet.  Although my little guy thought all the hangers were for him and he didn't want to make a choice.  Kidorable has put their name on the back of these neat looking hangers.

I like that the hangers are sturdy enough to hold children's clothing.  As the hangers are lightweight children can comfortably hang their own clothing.  There are no sharp edges.  It is better to use caution and avoid accidents by giving it to an older child over the age of 3 years/school age, so they have more understanding that these aren't toys as it has a hanger hook.

These hangers from Kidorable would be a lovely gift that will encourage children to organize their clothing.  It would be a cute functional gift for parents to use it in the nursery.  So next time you are looking for a unique gift get these Kidorable hangers which are sold online and are shipped to anywhere in the world.

Getting organized with DYMO and giveaway

I am glad I got this opportunity to introduce this new LabelManager 160 from DYMO to all of you.  This is a useful tool for me, as I like keeping things organized and easy to access.
I think once we are organized it is easy to keep the mess minimum, especially in a growing family as things start to accumulate faster :)
This Dymo LabelManager 160 is a portable handheld label maker, which helps us create professional personal mini-labels easily and quickly to organize everything around the home.

I like reusing and recycling containers to keep materials such as pencils, pens, markers etc.  Adding these labels make it clear what these containers are meant to hold, so children and adults can return it to the correct container after they are done.
I also label children's personal items for school and this makes my task neat.
It is easy and straightforward to use this label maker; even children will like making their own labels.  It would be a good idea to allow children to use only with permission and to keep it away from children :)

The handheld label maker has a computer style QWERTY keyboard, one-touch fast format keys for 6 different text sizes, 8 text styles, bold/ italics/ underline/ 4 boxes, 228 symbols/ clip art and vertical text.  It previews the layouts and effects on the LCD screen before printing.  This portable handheld label manager is compatible with Dymo D1 labels, which are 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" widths.  There are different coloured cartridges that we can use, however it only prints one colour label at a time.
I wish it would print in multi-colours and also print clipart or downloadable images from the computer to Internet onto the labels.  It requires 6 AAA alkaline batteries.

This Dymo LabelManager 160 is available at Staples Advantage, Costco, Grand & Toy, Basics, Lyreco & Novexco throughout Canada for $34.99.

Go Green Lunch Box

Go green and save money with these waste free lunch boxes. It is a bento style box, free of phthalate, BPA, lead and PVC.

The silicone seal used in the lid keeps the food fresh. The box is insulated, airtight and leak proof. The lightweight lunch box comes with a steel water bottle that fits into one of the five compartments.

The flap inside the lunch box carrying cover has a pocket to put utensils and napkins. There is also an innovative white board to write messages using a dry eraser; this is cute idea that eco-consciously saves paper.

There are clips on the side of the box, which allows the box to stay with the lids. This could be detached to separate the lid from the box. The box is not microwave or dishwasher safe, however it is easy to wash with soap and water.

It is easy to pack a variety for our children, without wrapping the food individually as the box is designed well and the food will not mix together, even when it is flipped i.e. the sandwich won't get soggy because of the apples :) These boxes makes it easy for the parents in the morning to follow school guidelines for waste-free lunches.

This eco-friendly option would be wonderful for children grade one and up to take to school everyday. It would also be good for summer camps and trips; the stainless steel water bottle holds about 8 oz (1 cup) of water so it is a good idea to take extra water bottles. There are snaps and a lovely turn n' lock mechanism on the lid. Everything is visible for the children, so they know what they have for lunch and will not forget :) to open all the boxes.

The cute designs of the outer covers are made with polyester fabric. Here is a list of locations the lunch boxes are sold at. Save money and the environment by going green with these lunch boxes.
