Photography Inspiration from Canon Canada

I love taking pictures. This hobby of taking photography became more of a passion for me when my children were born, as I wanted to capture the moments and memories that I can later use to tell them stories. I think capturing quality clear images make it more exciting to print, or make albums. I really like this Facebook app from Canon Canada that inspires, and allows us to learn how to take pictures of our children so the pictures look professional.

Learning about Saber-Tooth Tigers and stories from Berenstain Bears

The following two Berenstain Bear digital books teach our children good life lessons. The Berenstain Bears and the Tooth Fairy is about Sister Bear losing a tooth and gets a visit from the Tooth Fairy. She finds out that her best friend Lizzy got more money than her from the Tooth Fairy. It was neat to see and read how Mama Bear explain about the different funds Tooth Fairy gives.

Celebrating Snoopy with You Can Be Anything Digital Book Giveaway

We are big fans of Snoopy and Peanuts, and excited to announce Story Panda's You Can Be Anything Snoopy themed digital book. This book encourages children to think about all the awesome things they can be and teaches them that sky is the limit. Snoopy is the star of the show in this new iPad book app for kids. Charles M. Schulz’s You Can Be Anything story is a great way to talk to our children about their future and what they want to be.

Win a goodie bag from News-O-Matic an education app for children

I like it when my daughter uses the News-O-Matic educational app that is created by a skilled team of child experts, designers and entrepreneurs. This app is developed by Press4Kids, which covers breaking news, sports, science and more in an accessible and kid-friendly way.
I allow my daughter to use this app because it helps her talk and understand about current global issues. My daughter enjoys using this app and benefits from it, as she gets to learn about things that are happening in the world.

Kidobi has pre-screened online educational and entertaining videos for our children

In this generation of information technology, many children spend more time in front of screens than on any other activity, while they are awake. We know children learn from what they watch, and while some content is safe and educational, other content that isn’t age-appropriate can be harmful for them.  It is important for us as parents to be aware of the type of content our children watch and provide them with a fun environment where they can use technology to learn and grow.
