Wings Of Life

Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory
Today is Learn About Butterflies Day. I am glad that we had a wonderful opportunity to learn about Butterflies at the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory (Niagara Falls) a couple of years ago. We liked the beautiful feeling of being surrounded by the colourful butterflies.  We also enjoyed standing still and opening our palms for the butterflies to come land on us.

When we watched the IMAX Bugs A Rainforest Adventure, I learned that a butterfly's life span depending on its size and species is anywhere between 2 weeks to a month, and their goal is to create new life.

My family and I are big fans of Disneynature movies as they teach us many fabulous facts about things that surround us and the extraordinary beautiful things that God has created.  We are eagerly looking forward to watch Disneynature's Wings Of Life on Blu-ray and DVD combo pack, which will release on April 16th.

This film is directed by Louie Schwartzberg and narrated by Meryl Streep.  The movie will have lots of facts about butterflies, hummingbirds, bees and bats, and their life-sustaining collaboration with flowers.  This combo pack includes a sneak peek to Disneynature’s 2014 big-screen adventure "Bears".

To celebrate the debut of Wings of Life, Disneynature has made a contribution to the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund (DWCF) to protect pollinators worldwide.  The DWCF has already supported more than 20 projects across North America focused on protecting pollinators and their habitats.

They have given grants to help conservationists save endangered butterflies, expand habitat for honeybees and educate children about how pollinators help protect butterflies
