Interactive Musical Storybook and Newspaper App for children

This new interactive musical storybook app Mibblio for iPad will be enjoyed by children as they learn to read, sing, learn and play music all at the same time.

Mibblio is the first interactive musical/storybook app of its kind, which is easy to use.  The wonderful illustrations of the story-songs will encourage children to read, sing and jam while they improve their reading skills and learn to understand the layers of developing music.
The app has a mix of classic songs such as “The Wheels on the Bus” alongside new songs such as “Monkey Jamboree” that the recommended age group of 3 to 8 year old children will learn from and enjoy.
Check out Mibblio on Facebook and follow on Twitter for the latest updates.

I think it is important for children starting from around grade 2 to be able to talk and understand about issues that are happening in the world.  Press4Kids has made this fabulous News-O-Matic app that will benefit children age 7 to 10 years.  We can also set up different users.
This is an educational news app that covers breaking news, sports, science and more in an accessible and kid-friendly way.
News-O-Matic is a weekday newspaper application that has fun, interactive five daily news stories, detailed images, videos, illustrations, maps, timelines and games.
The objective of this app is to inspire children to become habitual news readers and well-informed global citizens.
News-O-Matic safely gives children the opportunity to explore the latest current events through the app.  I like that the app has a quiz after children read the news, so it test their comprehension and knowledge.
This app also gives children a voice to express their views by allowing children to interact with the Editor-in-Chief by rating stories, drawing pictures, asking questions or expressing opinions about current topics in the “News Room” section of the app.
Press4Kids is also on Facebook and Twitter follow them for the latest updates.
