Visiting the Halton County Radial Railway street car museum is like taking a trip back in time. It is a wonderful way for children and adults to experience how life would have been in the early 1900s.

This is a sponsored post in partnership with IHG.
We took off from our everyday routine we've been on since school started, by staying at Holiday Inn Express at St. Jacobs in Waterloo. Autumn is a wonderful time in Canada to travel and see the beautiful scenic changes as the leaves showcase a variety of fall colours.

Our Stay at Lakes of Wasaga Parkbridge Resort
We had a lovely time during our stay in a chalet at Lakes of Wasaga Parkbridge Resort. At the resort, we have the option of either staying in a cottage or chalet. We can either own these four season homes or rent and enjoy during anytime of the year. The scenic view of the man-made lakes surrounding each lot of chalets and cottages is beautiful and the perfect setting to sit and relax. Our days in the chalet were relaxing and fun, as we did lots of outdoor activities.

I love how the film portrays the beauty of Earth - how unique and far beyond our imagination everything is, which is not possible by anyone but God. Watching this film made us appreciate the beauty of Earth more, and think about the changes we can make in our own lifestyle to preserve the beauty of Earth.

Explore National Parks Snowshoeing With Children
Exploring winter scenery is lots of fun when it is done in snowshoes. Since snowshoes provide flotation, we can walk on top of snow easily and not sink. I think having proper snowshoes for children makes it a fun experience for them, so everyone in the family can go on fun excursions. My children have been using the MSR Tyker and Shift Youth snowshoes, which are especially designed for children because of its lightweight, durable, and safety features.

#MonsterJam 2016
Monster Jam shows are roaring loud and fun to watch! We love how these full action monster size trucks play on dirt like they are small Hot Wheel toys. This yearly Monster Jam show at Rogers Centre is super fun for everyone in the family. However, this year's show at Rogers Centre wasn't as cool as it was in the previous years. There wasn't as much action, so we were a little disappointed!

We had an amazing time at Black Creek Pioneer Village, as we enjoyed the annual Christmas by Lamplight program. This is a fun, memorable, and most importantly a relaxing educational experience that everyone in my family enjoyed. We loved the atmosphere. Going back in time to learn and experience how the pioneers would have enjoyed the festive season is awesome!
