LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Ninjago

DK LEGO harry potter
We enjoy LEGO books because they give background to LEGO stories and characters. This brings life to children's imagination, as they build and make their own version of the stories. LEGO Harry Potter Build Your Own Adventure and LEGO NINJAGO Choose Your Ninja Mission were recent books my son enjoyed reading, building, and recreating stories using his imagination.

LEGO Harry Potter Build Your Own Adventure will be loved by all LEGO and Harry Potter fans. This build your own adventure set comes with a book that includes a Harry Potter minifigure and 101 bricks that are needed to make an exclusive 2-in-1 LEGO Harry Potter model. There are more than 50 ideas to inspire our own LEGO® Harry Potter™ model ideas. The expert build tips will help recreate classic movie moments from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
  • Send Hogwarts letters flying in the Dursley's living room.
  • Explore Diagon Alley with Harry and Hagrid.
  • Cook up a Halloween feast in Hogwarts' Great Hall.
  • Build your own wizard chess board.

We used the bricks that came with this book to build two exclusive models - LEGO Sorting Hat spinner and the revolving fireplace following the instructions printed towards the end of the book.

The book starts off by introducing Harry and giving the background story about his life, friends, and Hogwarts. Then it explains about the included LEGO brick pieces before going into 5 chapters with colourful backgrounds and LEGO models that explain what bricks are used, the reason for each of the models by relating it to Harry Porter stories. For example, a bird bath made with a transparent blue piece and slopes that are attached to a brick with side studs, adds homely detail and is used for non-magical creatures. Children will enjoy combining other LEGO bricks to create their own adventures.

LEGO NINJAGO Choose Your Ninja Mission invites children to choose their own adventure, allowing them to experience life as a Ninja. There are more than 40 possible endings, which will allow LEGO NINJAGO fans to enjoy countless adventures and hours of entertainment.

Children will enjoy reading one part of the adventure, then deciding what to do next by selecting one of two options on every page. As children navigate the book, they will discover facts, stats, and pictures of their favourite LEGO NINJAGO sets and minifigures. It is fun for children to jump from one page to another and continue different adventures instead of reading it like a traditional book. Once they reach an ending, they can go back and see where destiny leads them next.

  • Would you rather battle Lord Garmadon or train with Master Wu?
  • Will you choose to take to the skies by dragon or by jet?
  • Will you become a Spinjitzu Master, or will you perfect the art of Airjitzu?

LEGO NINJAGO Choose Your Ninja Mission covers characters, vehicles, enemies, and locations from every series of LEGO NINJAGO Masters of Spinjitzu. This colourful book includes a Jay minifigure.
