Watch the amazing Macaque Monkeys on Disneynature Monkey Kingdom

Monkeys are amazing creatures, and very much close to humans in many ways. The similarities we share with monkeys are beautifully and artistically presented in the Disneynature Monkey Kingdom. It has taken three years and talents of many experts to bring this movie to us. This movie based in the beautiful island of Sri Lanka by the ancient ruins founded in the jungles of Polonnaruwa, gives us a perspective of the lives of Macaque monkeys from their eyes. Watching this documentary movie has increased our love and respect for these creatures we had the pleasure of seeing in action during our visits to Sri Lanka.

Our Journey to the Alaskan Wilderness with Disneynature's Bears

Disneynature's Bears Blu-ray Combo Pack, which released on August 12th takes the whole family on an epic journey to the Alaskan wilderness. We enjoyed watching this heartwarming, spectacular film that showcases a year in the life of a bear family, as two young cubs are taught life's most important lessons. My family and I enjoy watching Disneynature movies, as they give insight into the life of wild animals and allow us to see the world in a different perspective.

Wings Of Life

Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory
Today is Learn About Butterflies Day. I am glad that we had a wonderful opportunity to learn about Butterflies at the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory (Niagara Falls) a couple of years ago. We liked the beautiful feeling of being surrounded by the colourful butterflies.  We also enjoyed standing still and opening our palms for the butterflies to come land on us.

Disneynature Chimpanzee giveaway

Disneynature Chimpanzee is on Blu-ray combo pack, digital and on-demand from August 21st. This unforgettable and heartwarming adventure of Oscar, a young chimpanzee will be enjoyed by everyone in the family.  This true story is beautifully filmed showing the life of this curious chimpanzee.  The film is taken in the depths of the African rainforest.
Anyone watching this movie will sympathize and relate to the lives of chimpanzees.  The story shows the individual triumph, family bonds and the importance of teamwork over hierarchy.  We enjoyed the creative narration of the movie.  There were moments that we got nervous, cried, laughed and became impressed by these extraordinary personalities in the animal kingdom. I like the bonus features and the songs in the movie. The stunning hi-definition images brings us up close and personal with this young chimp Oscar and his family.

Charity
For every purchase of the movie until August 27th Disneynature will donate $0.50 through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund to the Jane Goodall Institute. The minimum pledged to this program is $30000, which will conserve chimpanzee habitat that protects 129,236 acres, educate 60,000 children about chimpanzee conservation and provide care for chimpanzees.
