Books and Gifts Our Little Travellers and Explorers Will Enjoy

There are two important words we teach our children from a young age, that is to say “please” and “thank you”. I love these travel board books: How Penguin Says Please! and How Tiger Says Thank You!. These additions to the Little Traveler Series by Abigail Samoun follow a loveable animal across the globe, teaching toddlers and parents to say “please” and “thank you” in seven popular languages: French, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish.

The illustrations show the lovely scenes from far off countries, such as the market in Moscow, a boat on Egypt's Nile River, and more. Each foreign word includes a pronunciation guide, an illustrated travel map highlighting the different countries visited, these books are just the thing for getting children excited about an upcoming family vacation, or keeping them occupied while on the long drive or flight to their destination. The small size makes them perfect for carry-on bags.
The Seashell Collector is a beautiful keepsake box set that is perfect gift for every beachcomber and shell lover. My daughter loves this box that has adjustable and removable dividers to help store and display the treasures. There are fifteen postcards that come in this box, which showcases different shells. It also comes with a 64-page journal, and an accordion-style booklet with stunning illustrations from the American Museum of Natural History's Rare Book Collection on one side and an expert overview of conchology and shell types on the other.

Make Your Own Model My Town is a fun activity children will enjoy building and playing. My son enjoyed popping the cardboard pieces out of the book, and then making the models of different homes, stores, and more that can be placed on the play board.
Children will enjoy telling their own stories after building the town.
