Muppets Most Wanted Inspired Stick Muppet Puppets

The Muppets are back in the globe-trotting, star-studded musical comedy adventure Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted,” available on Blu-ray Combo Pack and Digital HD August 12th at Disney.com. The blu-ray is packed with dozens of guest cameos, new songs and the most extended, most exclusive scenes not seen in theaters. There’s plenty of fun for the whole family as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal and the entire Muppets gang head out on a world tour.
Mayhem follows the Muppets, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper. Kermit ends up behind bars at the mercy of prison warden Nadya (Tina Fey), and the World’s Number One Criminal, Constantine—a dead ringer for Kermit—has taken his place.

As Constantine and his dastardly sidekick Dominic (Ricky Gervais) plot the robbery of the century, they are pursued by Sam Eagle and Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell). Watch the movie to find out if Constantine will get away with his nefarious scheme? Will Kermit escape in time to save the day?
To bring the fun of Muppets home, I made these Muppet Puppets. These puppets are lots of fun to make with our children, and it is a wonderful way for them to role play after watching the movie.
You will need...
White cardboard
pencil
lid or bottle to draw a circle shape
scissors
colour pencils
markers
popsicle sticks
tape
First, use a pencil and draw circle shapes on a cardboard using a lid or bottle, as a stencil to draw the circle for the puppets.
Then cut the circle shapes.
The activities on this page helped me to draw the characters.
Colour the characters with the crayon and then outline it using coloured markers.
Use tape and stick a popsicle stick behind each of the Muppet puppet faces.
Enjoy watching your little ones put on a Muppet puppet show.
