Say a Special Thanks to Mom With This Parker IM Pen

It is important that we say thank you to our mothers everyday for all that they have done for us. After becoming a mom myself, I honour the hard work my mother’s done for me when I was growing up. I like seeing how my mom displays all the things I make for her and tell my children about these.

My children also enjoy making homemade cards and gifts for me. I think it is a sweet gesture to get and receive a hand written note with the gifts. Using a quality flowing pen will make our writing more beautiful and cared for, which the recipients are sure to cherish.
When I used this Parker IM pen to write my message it made the handwriting flow beautifully creating a fine line graphic pattern. I think writing with this pen made this quilled card I made even more special.

For the card I needed...

pre-cut quilling paper
Quilling tool
tweezers to place the pieces
transparent glue
post-it-note paper to put the glue
a blank white card
parker pen

I made 2 orange, 1 red and 1 yellow tear drop shapes. Then, I made 1 red and 1 orange eye shape. I used a long green piece of quilling paper to make a loose circle for the leaves. For the butterfly's antenna I placed a tight small yellow roll, then placed two small curled pieces of yellow quilling paper.

This Parker IM metallic pen has a striking pink lacquer satin  finish. The pen with its contemporary shape and versatile appeal of metal has an instant modern style elegance. Anyone receiving this classic pen will be very happy with its comfort and high-performance functionality.
This pen is sold at fine writing specialty stores throughout Canada, and at Basics, Wallacks, Novexco, Staples, Boutique Du Stylo, Charals, Le Parchemin and more with prices ranging from $32 to $80 depending on the model we choose.

  38. From Canada. If I won, I would give this pen to my mom! I prefer using a pen over the keyboard. I am faster on a keyboard, but I study better with old fashion handwriting.

  39. I'm in Canada. I'd probably give it to my mom or mother-in-law. My mom especially prefers handwriting over typing. My mother-in-law is always sending us cards with little handwritten messages so this would be a nice gift for her too.
