Pure Oils, Simple Beauty: A Review of Canadian Grace

canadian grace
Canadian Grace is Canada’s Oil-Only Beauty™ brand, offering pure, high-performance oils for skin, hair, and scalp. Their motto is "beauty begins with simplicity" so they use natural ingredients of oil and refine it into clean, modern formulations. I tried a couple of their products - Rosemary Castor Hair Oil and Vitamin E Oil.

Rosemary Castor Hair Oil is a combination of organic castor, coconut, jojoba, sunflower, rosemary, and peppermint oils. It is recommend that about four to six drops be applied to dry or slightly damp scalp and gently massaged in a circular motion for one to two minutes to help simulate microcirculation. It can be left overnight or for about two hours before washing and can be used two to three times a week. It has been helping to nourish my scalp and to strengthen my roots, making my hair look fuller. This oil can be used on both natural or treated hair.

The Vitamin E Oil is a blend of organic sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, apricot oil, avocado oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, and natural D-Alpha vitamin E oil. It can be used at any time of the day to massage into the face, body, hair, and nails, or added to the bath for full-body hydration. It is designed to provide long-lasting hydration, help fight environmental damage, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, nourish and brighten the tired under-eye area, promote a youthful, radiant skin tone, boost hair shine, and soften cuticles.

The products have oil-only formulations and do not contain any water, fillers, or synthetics. Knowing the ingredients are simple puts my mind at ease when using them as part of a mindful skincare routine.

The products are made in Canada with imported ingredients and bottled in Ontario. I like that the brand uses simple, recyclable packaging. Canadian Grace also donates a portion of their profits to women's shelters across Canada, which makes supporting this brand even more meaningful.
