Discoverying LEGOLAND Once More and a Giveaway

My family and I went to LEGOLAND exactly after a year :) and found it still to be fun and exciting. It was crowded during our visit and we had to wait in line for almost everything, regardless it was still fun. Not much has changed during the past year, except for a few things that we enjoyed. We liked the lights in the MINILAND changing to reflect how beautiful the Toronto landscape looks at night. We also enjoyed watching a different LEGO movie about knights and princess.

Since we are huge fans of LEGO we found our visit to the indoor LEGOLAND Discovery Centre at Vaughan Mills mall fun.
I didn't like that at the entrance, every family that entered after purchasing tickets to LEGOLAND was in a line to take a family picture. We weren't asked if we want to take the photograph rather everyone stood in line and posed for a family picture and got a ticket to later purchase the photograph if they wish. I think they should ask us if we want to take a picture to purchase or allow us to just pass.
This time there was a staff member at the LEGO factory that gave a tour to some visitors, while others stood in a long line waiting to take the Kingdom Quest ride. The ride on the Kingdom Quest to aim the light-blaster was fun and worth the wait :)
While waiting in line my children enjoyed checking out how tall they were and how much they weighed if counted in LEGO bricks, which is very cool.
Next we entered the awesome MINILAND and took some pictures and admired the Toronto landscape.
We then got 4D glasses and watched the LEGO 4D movie, which is totally cool. The whole family will enjoy this experience, as the images come close to us and the special effects of water and snow fall on us to coincide with the movie scenes.
LEGO Racers: Build & Test, Earthquake Table, LEGO Fire Academy, LEGO Friends, DUPLO Village, LEGO Master Builder Academy, Merlin's Apprentice ride and LEGO Construction Site are other fun things to do while at LEGOLAND.
Check out our post from a year ago at LEGOLAND to see more details on the cool things we can do while at LEGOLAND.

  8. We are in Ontario. We went to Legoland a couple of weeks ago. My boys loved it but I found it very expensive. For a family of 4 it was over $70. If it was cheaper we would go more often. But we didn't have any lineups.

My boys love playing with Lego.

  23. I live in Calgary Alberta and we love lego. I help build the toys, and then the kids play with them. Lego has been a staple toy in my house since I had my first son who will be 20 this summer. My youngest just turned 4 and the only thing he asked for was fireman legos and police man legos. I couldn't find the police set, but got the fireman set that matches this. thanks for the chance.
