Focaccia bread

Here is a recipe I made with Club House Recipe mix: Herbes de Provence Roasted Chicken.  This Focaccia Bread recipe is adapted from the site.

2 cups of flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp yeast *
1/2 packet of Club House Herbes de Provence Roasted Chicken Flavourful recipe mix
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp olive or avocado oil
1 cup water

* If using dry yeast then froth it for about 5 to 10 minutes with sugar and 1/4 cup of warm water before adding it to the flour.
If using instant yeast just add it to the flour.

Mix the flour, sugar, yeast and 1/2 packet of the recipe mix except for a tsp.  Mix the 1 tbsp vegetable oil and water, then add it to the flour mixture.  Knead the dough to make a smooth elastic dough.  Lightly oil a bowl, place the dough in the bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes.  The dough will almost double in size after 20 minutes.
Place the dough in a square 8" x 8" oiled glass baking dish.  Brush the olive oil and sprinkle the 1 tsp of recipe mix, which was saved.
Bake in a 425F preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes and let it cool before slicing.  This bread can be used for sandwiches, bruschetta, croutons etc.

Club House recipe mixes giveaway

During the week it is pretty difficult to keep up with making sure there are tasty meals on the table.  These flavourful recipe mixes from Club House is helpful for us to make healthy meals quickly.  The products don't have trans fat, artificial colours, artificial flavour or MSG.  The gravy mixes have 25% less salt.  We made the gravy and served with fries, which everyone in my family enjoyed.

I didn't use the sachets that had cheese in it such as the Alfredo mix, Spaghetti and Parmesan chicken penne.  I found the packets a little misleading as it specifies a type of meat, although the packets are liberal to use in a variety of ways.  This prevents vegetarians and people who don't use the specified meat from buying it and becoming innovative with these flavoured packets.  The back of the packet is helpful as it says what we need and what we have to add to make a quick meal.
We enjoyed the unique taste and flavours of the Club House mixes.  I am looking forward to make a variety of dishes and getting inspired by the recipes that are on Club House website.
My family and I enjoyed the delicious pasta salad mix, which I was able to prepare quickly for dinner.  The packet suggests
1 packet of Club House pasta salad
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
250 g bow tie pasta
2 cups mix of vegetables

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet and wash in cold water and keep it ready.  Mix the vinegar, oil and the packet of mix.  I used frozen vegetables so I cooked it for about 5 minutes with 1/2 tbsp oil and kept it ready.
Mixed everything and served it.  This pasta salad can be served at room temperature or cold.

You have a chance to win a prize pack from Club House and $50 gift card to start cooking delicious meals to your family.  Enter the giveaway through the rafflecopter below.  It is open to people in Canada.  The giveaway ends on October 12th.  The winner will get the prize pack in 4 to 6 weeks.  You can cross apply at other participating blogs, but will only be able to win from one of the blogs.
