We have all heard how important water is for our bodies since we were little, but I am sure despite knowing the positive influence of water for our bodily functions, we don't pay as much attention as we should to how much water we in-take. In our family, we have come to a mutual agreement that water makes us feel better, helps prevent headaches and keeps our mood positive. Since we started monitoring our hydration levels, we've found that water is the best source of hydration throughout the day, and it makes a big difference in our lives.

During the past few weeks, my family and I have been monitoring our water intake as part of our overall wellness goals to make healthier hydration choices. Healthy hydration is helping us with our food goals to watch what we eat more closely. We are also rethinking our routines through the day to ensure we include proper rest into our day.

My family and I are joining other Canadian families in the movement to make healthy hydration choices, to #DrinkBetterLiveBetter. Water is in the core of our existence and has the most essential nutrients needed for life. Drinking water regularly can help our overall wellbeing. What we drink is just as important as what we eat, so making this lifestyle change has lots of benefits.
