Drink Better Live Better a Lifestyle Change We Plan to Make

nestle pure life

My family and I are joining other Canadian families in the movement to make healthy hydration choices, to #DrinkBetterLiveBetter. Water is in the core of our existence and has the most essential nutrients needed for life. Drinking water regularly can help our overall wellbeing. What we drink is just as important as what we eat, so making this lifestyle change has lots of benefits.

We have decided that we need to stop to think about how hydrated we are throughout our day, despite the busy everyday schedules we have. Instead of drinking beverages with sugar, we plan to drink more water. We think this will help us keep our calorie intake in check, stop reaching for snacks when we feel thirsty, and improve overall wellbeing.

To make this lifestyle change as a family, we plan to do a few things, such as making water more accessible so that our children will drink it more. We are also planning on keeping a tracking sheet for all our family members to ensure we are drinking enough water throughout the day.

Did you know...
Newborn babies are 75 per cent water?
Our cells shrink if we don't drink enough water?
Children need to drink more water than adults in proportion to their body size?
We lose water in our sleep just by breathing and sweating?

  1. Water is very important. Often when I start getting a headache it is due to not drinking enough of it.
