Burt's Bees Body Care

Burt's Bees Body Care
When I use body care products, I prefer to use products that are made using more naturally derived ingredients. I like how my skin feels after I use the Burt's Bees products. The products are sulfate, paraben, and phthalate free.

The Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner from Burt's Bees with pomegranate seed and avocado oils helps boost the volume in our hair naturally. I like that the fragrance in he shampoo and conditioner is not strong. The conditioner has amino acid-rich ingredients to help make our hair feel and look fuller and thicker. I found the shampoo to be runny - I think it would have been more efficient if the spout of the container helps us control the amount of the shampoo more easily. I like that both the shampoo and conditioner rinses off easily and leaves the hair feeling soft.

The peppermint and rosemary body wash smells fresh, and I like how it feels on the skin. Since the ingredients are plant based it helps cleanse, deodorize, and refresh our skin when we lather it up and rinse it off.

The hand cream from Burt's Bees has Baobab oil to help nourish dry hands. This fragrant free cream is non-greasy and absorbs quickly, so we can apply as needed anytime, during any season.

The tinted lip balm from Burt's Bees is a wonderful alternative to lipstick. There are a six different shades including sweet violet which has a pink tone, and hibiscus which has a red tone.

The Deep Pore Scrub made with peach and willow bark is a wonderful exfoliant to use occasionally. It helps our skin feel soft. I like using the lightly fragrant Rosewater Toner after using this exfoliant and the anti-blemish cleanser. The rosewater toner is formulated with rosewater, glycerin, and aloe to help remove traces of cleanser, oil, and makeup. It is easy to apply the toner using a cotton pad.

I have been using the anti-blemish solution and the Herbal Blemish Stick for about a week, and have started to see a positive difference! These two products are supposed to work differently for each person; I am glad that I have seen positive results on mine.

The anti-blemish solutions cleanser helps wash away blemish without over drying or irritating our skin. A little bit goes a long way when we use this cleanser, so use it sparingly because it is slightly strong. It mentions that the Salicylic acid from the willow bark extract, evening primrose, and beetroot extract helps prevent blemishes and care for troubled skin.

The herbal blemish stick can be used about thrice a day in the affected area until needed. It is made with tea tree leaf oil and has a blend of essential oils to help the affected skin become healthier. I find that my blemishes have started to heal, and the skin is coming back to its original state - I like that the skin did not go through a skin peeling process when I used this blemish stick.

If you are looking for more naturally based skin care products, you can purchase Burt's Bees products in a variety of stores in Canada.
