Deep Tissue Roller and Reversible Yoga Mat from Gaiam

I like this lightweight 5mm Kiku Premium Printed Reversible Yoga Mat because it is extra-thick. The thickness of the cushioning makes it comfortable when exercising. The length of 68" and the width of 24" gives us a stable, non-slip surface when we do yoga practices making it a perfect mat for home or studio use.

I like that this mat ensures our safety and comfort, as it gives the space we need to enhance proper alignment and maintain poses. It is manufactured free of the top six most harmful phthalates, which makes this mat a healthier choice for the planet and us. However, I don't like the strong smell the mat emits and have left it in an open area hoping the scent on it will soon be gone. I love the sturdiness and the cushion on this mat, which makes this colourful mat a good choice to do yoga as well as use the Deep Tissue Roller and do exercises on it.

The 13" long x 5" diameter Deep Tissue Roller has a firm wavy texture that provides ultimate muscle stimulation and deep tissue relief. I like that it is compact, as this makes it ideal for working smaller regions of our body and isolate specific muscle groups. The inner core is hard and durable, so we can use it consistently without the foam roller loosing its shape. This foam roller comes with an exercise guide, which I find helpful.

I find this foam roller useful to massage my back just by rolling on it and the wavy-like ridges and texture helps relieve pressure and soothes muscle pain.

  1. I would love to try the foam roller on my lower back, it goes into spasm a couple of times a year.
