Wonderful Books At The Back to School Boutique To Help Our Children Learn

It's back to school time, and DK wants to help us make the start to the school year the best ever for our children and us. There is a wonderful range of titles covering geography, history, science and more at DK Back to School Boutique for children of all ages, all specially priced for a limited time. Check out their Back to school boutique and take advantage of the sale.

Here are some of the books in the Back to School Boutique that will help our children. These books help us as parents, so we can help our children improve in the correct way.

We like using the Math Made Easy 10 Minutes a Day workbook series that cover Canadian curriculum requirements from Junior Kindergarten through to Grade 5 based on one of the most effective learning strategies, doing a little bit but often. Each workbook has dozens of quick exercises and includes a digital timer that kids will love using when they do math. Beat the Clock exercises develop quick mental math, including recalling the all-important times tables. Each title in this series tests a range of skills and knowledge. I like that these books make math fun for children and allows us to review concepts taught at school for only 10 minutes a day.
How To Be A Math Genius puts our math brain to the test with interesting series of number games, logic problems, shape puzzles, and fun activities. There are also some number tricks that we can use to amaze our friends and family. This book is packed with math activities and puzzles, compelling stories of math geniuses, math facts and stats, and more. How to be a Math Genius makes the dreaded subject of math both engaging and relevant.
Help Your Kids With English is a complete visual guide, which will help our children learn and understand English. There are clear, accessible pictures, diagrams in this indispensable reference that covers all key grammar areas as taught in Canadian schools. This helpful home resource also includes Canadian rules for punctuation, spelling and grammar. This would be a wonderful book to have for every parent and frustrated student.

Help Your Kids With Math uses an illustrated stress-free approach that covers every aspect of math, from simple sums to simultaneous equations. It explains in an easily understandable language so that adults and kids can master the subject together. Tricky concepts are explored and examined step-by-step, so individuals will be able to approach and solve complex problems with confidence.

Help Your Kids With Science explains science in a stress-free approach with clear graphics, instantly understandable diagrams and jargon-free text that covers all the important areas of biology, chemistry and physics. Whether it's working with the Periodic Table, the threes laws of motion, or trying to explain polarity and magnetic fields is easy with this book. The book includes a glossary of key science terms and symbols.
