Centreville Amusement Park at Centre Island

We had a fabulous time at Centre Island and enjoyed everything from the ferry ride to the fun park and rides. We can easily spend a day or few days :) in the summer at Centre Island. This is an experience that everyone in the family will enjoy and will be excited every time you go there. The fun of getting to the park in a ferry sets a lovely mood for children and adults. We enjoyed the cool breeze in the upper level of the ferry ride.

The Centreville Amusement Park at Centre Island has a large scenic park surrounded by water and beautiful gardens, which is a peaceful place to spend time with family and friends. Centreville is open daily in the summer and weekends in September. If you haven't been there yet this summer, then there is still time to experience and relax at Centre Island and Centreville.
There are lots of rides, attractions and food outlets at Centreville. We went on some rides more than once, enjoyed having a picnic by the water, playing at Franklin's park, taking pictures and walking around the scenic island.

My son had many firsts at the park this summer. He went on rides by himself, on his first pony ride and drove a car :) Both my children went on rides that were just perfect for their age/height to go together or confidently go by themselves.
Our favourite rides are by the water and there were enough to make us happy :) The log ride is awesome, so are the swan and bumper boats. These are some of the rides I don't like missing when I am at the park :) My children love all the fast rides and don't like missing any of it so they had a wonderful time. The speeds of the rides are safe and not over whelming. I don't recommend anyone going on the barrel works ride, which is pretty scary I think they should have an age limit.
My children are fans of Franklin and they were happy to discover Franklin's children park. They enjoyed watering the plants and getting some neat activities to do at home. We also relaxed by the shades of the beautifully landscaped park before we headed back to the rides :) The landscaping of the fruitful edible garden is impressive.

  4. We were over to Toronto Island last week! Had a great picnic and loved visiting the Far Enough Farm. DS is a bit young for the rides yet, but I know he will have a blast next year.

  7. Great review! I was thinking of taking the kids there this summer but in July it was way too hot for, then Ramadan began and now I should really squeeze it in before school starts!
