What's New on Netflix: DinoTrux & S.T.E.A.M inspired Project Mc2

We watched the first episode Netflix original series DinoTrux from DreamWorks, which will be launching on August 14th. My son being a big dinosaur fan loves the show that is based on the award-winning children’s book series by Chris Gall. DinoTrux features hybrid dinosaur/construction vehicle characters, and follows the larger-than-life adventures of two unlikely best friends, Ty Trux, a massive Tyrannosaurus Trux, and his tiny friend Revvit, a razor-smart Reptool.
Together, the Dinotrux and Reptools unite to defend their new community against D-Structs, the biggest and baddest Dinotrux of them all, who threatens to destroy everything they have built.
My children and I love watching shows that have a mission to accomplish. When we watched the first episode of Project Mc2 we were hooked right away. We are looking forward to watch the rest of the Project Mc2 episodes when it will be available worldwide exclusively on Netflix on August 7. The show follows four super smart and science-skilled girls as they are recruited to join the spy organization, NOV8 "Innovate", and work together to save the day.
Project Mc2 shows that Smart is the New Cool™ incorporating S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) in a fun way and depicting smart girls, that viewers can relate to, throughout the series.
The characters in the show...
McKeyla McAlister the leader who is also a writer and an undercover spy; Adrienne Attoms is culinary chemist; Bryden Bandweth is into the tech stuff; and Camryn Coyle who enjoys creative constructions. My children enjoyed following the blueprint that came with the Camryn Coyle doll to make the skateboard. I like how this show makes learning fun and teaches children that they can be part of innovation and start thinking creatively.
