Crocheted Cushion Cover

crocheted cushion cover
It is always fun and satisfying when there is home decor that is handmade. This fun cushion cover project is an easy project to get started even when we are on-the-go. Read the instructions below to see how easy it is to make.

I crocheted four 8" squares using two different shades of green 4 ply yarn. Then I attached the crocheted squares together to create a pattern.

For the backing of the cushion cover, I used a soft flannel material. I took two rectangular pieces of the cloth so it would overlap and allow me to remove and insert the cover as needed.

I attached the backing by first pinning the sides to the crocheted square. I had both the material with the wrong sides in and the right sides facing out, and used a yarn needle to blanket stitch.

  9. I love it! I can't crochet, my mom tried to teach me but I just never could get into it but I love the finished products (i have lots that my mom has made me over the years). The pillow looks great! The colours would actually match a blanket my Mom made me about 20 years ago.
