Jar Decorated with Modpodge Sheer Colours to Hold Paintbrushes

A few years ago when my children were younger we recycled a jar by putting colourful craft paper and decorating it. Even after three years this jar has been handy, as it holds our paintbrushes. Now that we have fabulous Modpodge products, I wanted to upcycle this jar. I used the pretty pink Modpodge sheer colour and painted over this jar and let it dry completely.

To do this project you will need...
Modpodge sheer colours
A clean glass bottle or jar
Craft tissue papers in different colours

Let the children rip pieces of craft tissue paper and glue it to the outside of the glass bottle and then leave it to dry. Overlap the craft tissue paper for a different effect.
We can use Modpodge sheer colours instead of glue to paste the craft tissue paper. Once it dries use a paintbrush and paint over the craft tissue paper that is glued on the outside of the jar and leave it to dry. Once it dries it will have a bright beautiful shine.
