  2. I live in Saskatchewan. One of the ways I prepared for back to school was to do baking for their lunches plus making lunches and freezing a week at a time.

  3. I always used to pick up the "teen packs" at Shoppers to get ready for the new school year. Not just school supplies that you need to stock up on!

    Our back to school shopping involves new shoes and a backpack. We try not to get school supplies unless we really need them and often we have leftovers.

    I don't prepare for back to school as no one in my household is returning to school. In the past we would search the flyers for the best deals and make a list.

  17. I'm from Calgary Alberta. I make lists, check for sales, and try to get all my shopping done in two trips (one for clothes, one for supplies). I have 3 going into school this year. Next year I will have 4 in school.

  21. I live in Ontario. We prepare for back to school by going through the kids' clothes and weeding out the ones that don't fit, then making a list of what they need and the sizes. It's sticking to the list that's the challenge.

  24. Bailey Dexter I live in ON. I prepared for back to school by trying to do as much shopping as soon as possible, by looking for sales. I also bake in the summer and make up snack in baggies. This way I always have extras for the lunches for them & their friends!

  44. I live in BC and right now with the teachers strike we dont know what is going to happen sop it is hard to prepare. But mostly just get the shopping done and I try and do one good houseclean the week before so I dont have to worry about that the first week of school

  65. Alberta. I try to buy the school clothes & shoes at the beginning of August as by mid-month most sizes we need are sold out. Then I iron-on labels as I gradually buy so it's not a mad rush when September comes.
