Win Tickets to The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum

The Canadian Warplane Heritage museum is a working airplane hangar with many interactive displays where we can touch, sit in, and learn about warplanes. We really enjoyed the flight simulators that allows children and adults to experience what it would feel like to be in a plane.
The museum features more than 40 aircraft, from vintage WWII aircraft to jets that have been flown by Canadian military and civilians. The museum is handicapped accessible, and is located adjacent to Hamilton’s J.C. Munro Int’l Airport, and is open every day except Christmas and New Year’s.
The museum educates and entertains the public through their maintenance and rotation of displays, flight demonstration, special events, and activities. They also have programs for school groups, camps and more. There are volunteers who will give us a tour and take us to each of the aircrafts that are outside, we can go into some of the aircraft and watch a couple fly as well.
The collectable aircraft models and the history behind it will interest aircraft enthusiast.
Since the museum does not allow outside food, we can purchase lunch and snacks in their canteen.

  22. I live in Ontario and I've never been to there. I would love to take my girls so they can see a piece of our history. Their great, great uncles both fought in WWII and they've heard some of the stories from their great grandmother (her twin brothers).
