My children like the look and feel of the lightweight, comfortable pair of TOMS classic shoes. They both enjoy wearing these shoes for long periods of time. These classic shoes go well with all types of clothing and would be wonderful to wear for any occasion in spring and summer. I like how these shoes look on my children, and the ease of putting it on.
My daughter likes her silver glitter shoes, which looks fancy, yet have the comfort in the inside. My son's canvas shoes are the kids' version of their original classics that keep our little ones feet secure as they play. Both these TOMS shoes have classic suede insole with rubber cushion for comfort and the durable cupsole allows the shoes to be flexible. These shoes also have the TOMS elastic V for easy on and off.
TOMS started in 2006, when Blake Mycoskie, an American traveller went to a village in Argentina and found the children there had no shoes to protect their feet. He created TOMS, as he wanted to help these children in need. I am a big fan of the TOMS One for One movement. For every pair of shoes we purchase a new pair of shoes is given to a child in need. Since its beginnings, TOMS has given over 10 million pairs of new shoes to children in need in 60 countries.
In 2011, Blake started TOMS eyewear to help restore sight to person's in need. For every purchase of sunglasses or optical frames another is given to someone in need. In 2014, TOMS Roasting Co. was started to help provide clean water to those in developing communities when we purchase premium coffee.
TOM shoes for kids are available in tiny sizes for children age 0 to 5 years and youth sizes for children over 5 years at retailers across Canada and TOMS.ca. Our everyday choices have the power to impact lives of those around the world, so lets encourage our children and ourselves to be part of this movement by purchasing TOMS shoes, eyewear or coffee and help those in need.
