Summer learning continues with these awesome titles from DK publishers; Smithsonian History!, 1000 Inventions and Discoveries, and Inventors. It is fun to read educational books accompanied with illustrations, as it makes the content interesting and inspiring.

Recreating Travel Memories with Playmobil and giveaway

When the school year winds down usually, we would be planning road trips and overnight camping trips. However, because of the current situation we feel staying home is a better option. As we spend more time indoors, we have taken advantage of the extra time learning new skills, spending time doing crafts, painting, other DIY projects, baking and more which we usually don't get enough time to do. We have been reading a couple of Self Care books from DK Canada - Sleep and Trigger Points. These books have been useful to think of what we should change to better take care of ourselves. My children read a few interesting DK readers - The Story of Civil Rights, I'm an activist, Sports Legends, and Festivals and Celebrations that has lots of useful general knowledge.
