Exploring Montebello while staying at Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello

After a fun educational visit to the Canadian National History Museum and admiring the beautiful horticulture exhibit at MosaïCanada, we checked in at Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello, the world's largest log castle! We love the architectural design of this resort. Everyone in our family had a pleasant stay, and found the atmosphere at the resort relaxing. We also enjoyed a variety of different sports and hiking. 

Canadian Museum of History

The Canadian Museum of History with its dramatic, curved lines designed by Canadian Aboriginal architect Douglas Cardinal is considered one of the most striking architectural masterpieces of the 20th century. This museum is a wealth of knowledge, as it presents the national narrative of the history of Canada and its people. 

Books that encourage Painting and Drawing

We have been using several art books during the past few months to practice our art skills, and make it a routine to do drawings and paintings. We find that this helps us to be more mindful and appreciate nature.

Exploring Gatineau while Staying at KOA

We chose to stay at the Cardinal, Ottawa South KOA during our road trip from Toronto towards Ottawa, Outaouais, and the Laurentians. Staying at the KOA deluxe cabin made it comfortable to relax, play, and make our meals leisurely before heading further into our trip. We love that the KOA locations are close to the highway making it easy to stay and explore the area.

We love the spacious comfort of the 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.4 SE AWD, which made our camping road trip to Pelee Island and the Point Pelee National Park a memorable experience. We were able to load all our camping gear and everything else we needed for the road trip.

Family Friendly Experience at Living Water Resort

During our recent visit to Collingwood, near Wasaga Beach we had the pleasure of staying at Living Water Resort. We enjoyed our stay in a double queen bed deluxe suite, which has an aesthetically pleasing design and décor. The suite has everything we need for a comfortable family stay including a kitchenette, bathroom with a Jacuzzi, and a walkout balcony.
