Eyewitness books are a wealth of knowledge. These books are must have in every library at home and in schools. My children enjoy looking through and learning from these fabulous books from DK. Eyewitness Human Body shows everything we need to know about the body from the smallest cell to the systems that keep us alive. It also has information about how, when and who started researching about different parts of the human body. These educational books gives details with images on how everything works.

Say Hello to Logitech Ultimate Ears’ latest addition to its award winning line of portable wireless speakers, the UE MEGABOOM. It is designed to be a premium portable Bluetooth speaker in every way. If product packaging is an indicator of brand quality, the UE Megaboom’s packaging certainly makes its case. The speaker is enclosed in a large plastic cylinder with a carry on handle. Pulling the tab open from the side reveals the speaker and the bright yellow Micro-USB Wall charger. Since the UE MEGABOOM comes in different colours such as charcoal black, lava red, electric blue, and plum UE could have matched the colour of the wall charger with the speaker instead of standard yellow for all.

Teen Beach 2 is on DVD

The waves have finally settled in and Teen Beach 2 has arrived on DVD. It is packed with songs, dance numbers, and never-before-seen bonus features. The DVD comes with an exclusive friendship necklace that my daughter really likes. The movie takes place after the summer break and when school begins, as Brady and Mack’s relationship seems headed for a wipeout, until Lela, Tanner and the "Wet Side Story" kids show up.

This Ice Cream Bar my family and I enjoyed is a sponsored post for #CollectiveBias using ingredients I purchased at Walmart. In my family ice cream is associated with warm sunny days! Although, we enjoy licking our ice cream on a cone we always lean more towards having ice cream with other desserts. Every time I make our favourite pineapple upside down cake, apple pie, fruit salad, or a milk drink with rose syrup known as Falooda, a tub of ice cream disappears in no time at all.

I was initially skeptical about charging 2 phones at once on a dual USB charger because I was afraid it might blow the fuse on the receptacle by drawing too much power to charge 2 phones at one time. Hot Wheels FUNdamentals Learning Project

Keeping our children interested in learning over the summer holidays isn't always easy if we push books in their face, so I try to incorporate learning in different ways. It is important as parents we create opportunities for our children to advance their knowledge and skills, so they can retain what they’ve learned over the school year. This year, I am excited to be part of the Hot Wheels FUNdamentals Learning Project.

Assistive Technology at TDSB

Toronto District School Board is using assistive technology to help students with special needs be able to work to their full potential. Technology is revolutionizing the way today’s students are learning, as they can tackle research more quickly and collaborate on group projects easily. For students with special needs, technology is helping to pave a new road to higher success in school. TDSB is providing resources, training and workshops to help teachers incorporate technology into their classrooms.

Join Barilla Taste of Little Italy from June 19 to 21

Barilla Taste of Little Italy is back for its 17th year from June 19 to 21! The annual festival transforms College Street into an Italian piazza with cuisine, music, artisans and more. This year, Barilla Taste of Little Italy will be joined by Scotiabank CHIN International Picnic. These two festivals demonstrate and celebrate the widespread diversity across Toronto.
