My children and I enjoy kits that teach new craft techniques, and include everything we need to get started like the #KlutzHandmade kits. Klutz has a beautiful selection of activity books for children over 8 years. These kits will keep children engaged and excited during March Break, as they make fabulous handmade items such as bracelets, clay crafts, and more.

Although, my family and I continue to look for simplicity in the food we consume daily, it is quite difficult to know about all the different ingredients that go into basic kitchen supplies like margarine. Mainly because of this reason, a few years ago I completely stopped using margarine and used butter instead as it is easier to tell what goes into butter. Recently, I got a chance to attend the launch of Becel made with simpler ingredients and learn how margarine is made, as well as ask questions that have changed my perspective about margarine.

I believe food plays a powerful role in building and keeping communities together. We see this both in times of celebration, as well as in times of hardship. On a regular basis, many of us help our own and other communities by either donating to food banks, charities, or simply by cooking or baking and sharing with others.

We loved our stay at Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, which is a beautiful small coastal community. It is a wonderful place to relax and feel the slow pace of life that we are loosing in our fast paced city life. We enjoyed the atmosphere, as we strolled along the streets of Saint Andrews and checked out the stores, restaurants, and attractions.

We loved our two-night weekend stay at the Toronto West KOA in Campbellville, Ontario. There are more than 485 Kampgrounds of America (KOA) locations in the U.S.A. and Canada since founder Dave Drum constructed a campground on the banks of Yellowstone River in Billings, Montana in 1962. The campgrounds are conveniently located close to the highways and byways so we can stay overnight and relax during road trips without detouring before proceeding with long journeys.

I have items from my childhood that I am not sure I am ready to part with. I have saved them because they carry sentiments, however sometimes it is hard to save everything I want because I do not like clutter! I remember the days when there were garage sales in the neighbourhood, and nowadays with the fast paced digital driven world we seldom see this.

During our stay in Montreal, we visited the Space for Life. We took the train from the hotel to this space, which was convenient than looking for parking and finding the location. I like that all the four attractions are close by, which makes it convenient to visit the attraction at the same time; especially because we went for a short visit.
