Kylo Ren Costumes and Star Wars Toys Inspired by #TheForceAwakens

My family and I love Star Wars and we are excited about the upcoming movie Star Wars The Force Awakens. My son being a Kylo Ren Fan chose this Kylo Ren costume that comes with the lightsaber online. As a parent, I love letting my children play with costumes especially when they are young because because it helps them develop a variety of skills. Costumes encourage dramatic play, imagination, and creativity. Children can also develop their communication, language, and social skills when they dramatize characters, add emotions, and play with each other.
I keep the costumes in the play area, so it is accessible for children to wear the costumes whenever they want independently. I like the Wholesale Halloween costumes for children because it has soft Velcro on it, so children can easily wear it over their clothing. I like the different Star Wars costumes that are available such as the Kylo Ren costume that comes in a three-piece ensemble that includes the robe, hooded cape, belt, and mask. The floor-length hooded robe in Sith black, has weathered gray sleeves, a textured black cape that wraps around the shoulders, and a hood. It also included a matte black plastic mask with silver accents that circle the eyehole, and a wide belt with a subtle buckle printed onto the front. My son wears the costume for long periods of time and says it is comfortable. This Disney Child's costume is available in small, medium, and large sizes. The costume includes 2 AA battery operated Kylo Ren lightsaber that lights up and extends to almost 3 feet in length.

During our Hasbro Holiday preview event my son experienced the Star Wars The Force Awakens Chewbacca Bowcaster and loved it. Now that he has his own bowcaster he loves to play with it because of the real crossbow action. This is a fun toy for children age 8 and up, as the Nerf shoots up to 20m. There is a place for dart storage so the darts are accessible to keep aiming. It is fun for children to look through the removable scope, and use the tactical rail to aim his target. The bowcaster needed assembly without using tools. We can buy additional darts separately.
My children love playing with the Hasbro Star Wars: The Force Awakens Extendable Lightsabers that are for children over 4 years. The lightsaber opens with the flick of the wrist. This lightsaber is compatible with other components from the Baladebuilders system that are sold separately, so children can create new Lightsaber combinations.
BOP IT! Star WarsR2-D2 Edition Game is fun for everyone over 8 years that can be played alone or we can challenge with others to get the highest score. This $25, 2 AAA battery operated game is similar to the classic BOP IT! game. Players twist, bop, and pull the R2-D2 figure in response to his commands in this fast reaction memory game. It features Star Wars movie sounds and the voices of fan favorites R2-D2 and C-3PO.
Star Wars fans will enjoy the costumes and toys as gifts, which can be purchased online or in toy stores.

  2. I like that you keep the costumes easily accessible for pretend play! So many people only bring out costumes around halloween but kids really love to dress up year round!

  3. Costumes are so much fun. I know a grandmother who buys costumes at after-Halloween sales so she and her grandchildren can play dress-up together all year.
