Hot Wheels FUNdamentals Learning Project

Keeping our children interested in learning over the summer holidays isn't always easy if we push books in their face, so I try to incorporate learning in different ways. It is important as parents we create opportunities for our children to advance their knowledge and skills, so they can retain what they’ve learned over the school year. This year, I am excited to be part of the Hot Wheels FUNdamentals Learning Project.
The program is rooted in the belief that play based learning is a great way to keep children stimulated and learning. Play based learning has been known to improve memory, literacy and numeracy skills, help with academic focus, social and emotional skills, and helps develop children's physical development.
This 3D cityscape is one of the activities that incorporate basic skills such as counting, patterning, colouring, literacy and language.
The FUNdamentals Learning Program is created by experienced educators. This program aims to provide teachers and parents with lesson plans and resources that are designed to engage students aged 3 to 7 in fun activities. The lessons meet curriculum expectations, and the program is easy to implement in the classroom or at home.

  5. Hot Wheels have been around since I was a child (probably longer than that) and it's nice to see that they are keeping up with the times and caring about the future of our next generations educational development.

  8. Hot Wheels have been such great toys and learning from them for children is beyond fun. They learn how to follow instructions (so do adults) and they learn to play, share and how things work. Sounds like a fun fantastic program.
