Touch2O Technology in Our Kitchen

We trust Delta products and love the ease of installing their accessories, hand shower, and the Touch2O Technology faucet. Our experience with the fabulous Touch2O Technology in our bathroom geared us towards the same type of luxury in the kitchen when we were planning on our #KitchenReno. Once you get used to the features of the Touch2O Technology, I am sure you too will not be able to think of any other type of faucet.

We used the Addison Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O® Technology and a matching Soap Dispenser. This design inspired by scallops of a seashell has graceful curves that give it a delicate beauty in our kitchen.
This touch activated faucet turns on and off with just a touch on the spout or handle, which is fantastic when our hands are full. This way we don't make the handle dirty. It is also fabulous for children because they can wash their hands without having difficulty reaching the handle.
We set our faucet to lukewarm water at all times so our children can wash their hands with a touch on the spout without adjusting the water temperature. I like to be cautious with little ones, as I find sometimes they could turn on the hot water for a long time and get hurt. This way only adults or older children that can reach the handle will be able to control the temperature of the water.
Another wonderful thing about this faucet is that it will automatically turn off the water flow after one minute if the water is left running, perfect for the absent minded :) or homes with little ones that forget to turn off the tap or in this case touch the faucet to off the water flow.
The MagnaTite docking keeps the kitchen pull-down spray wand firmly in place when not in use. I love the 62" long hose and the high-arc pull down that swivels 360 for us to access the whole sink. There is a button under the spout that allows us to switch easily from multi-flow stream to the spray setting. It delivers 1.5 gpm for water efficiency and 2.0 gpm stream setting for high performance.
The on-off indicator light signals when the batteries run low, however the faucet comes with 6 AA batteries that is supposed to last for up to 2 years. We can mount the battery box to the cabinet.
This faucet can be installed with 1 or 3 hole installation. When we changed our counter tops we put 1 hole, so we didn't need to use the piece that came for the 3 hole.
We liked the high-arc design of the soap dispenser that can be used as a soap or lotion dispenser. I like that I can easily refill the 13 ounce bottle from above.

Installing the faucet and the soap dispenser was easy, as it comes with clear, coloured instructions. This Addison Touch2O® Technology faucet is available in Arctic Stainless, Chrome, Champagne Bronze, and Venetian Bronze. This Addison Touch2O® Technology faucet and soap dispenser is available at Home Improvement stores such as Home Depot and Lowes.
