Colouring and Drawing Flowers with Crayola

As a mom, I always look for quality creative products, as it eliminates frustration when our children are using them. Creative products that have quality help our children express themselves, and gives them inspiration. Crayola is committed to provide the best-in-class quality products.

Crayola new ultra clean markers are colourful and washable. It glides smoothly without rag or piling and has true consistent colour without smudging. Both my children enjoyed using these markers to colour and draw. I am glad these markers easily wash off their fingers, clothes, and work surface. The long lasting, intense colours and colour variety made with special reservoir and nib system allows ink to flow smoothly.
I like that we can use the tips in any angle and make various line widths. Before throwing out the markers test to see if there is any ink left, sometimes markers dry out due to the cap being left open. Soak the markers in an inch of warm water for a minute, recap the markers, and let the markers rest horizontally overnight before using it.
My children enjoy colouring with crayons, and I like that the non-toxic Crayola crayons are tested and known to last 35% longer than other brands.
Crayola Coloured Pencils and Erasable Coloured Pencils are made from re-forested wood. I like the erasable component of the Erasable Coloured Pencils, however prefer the quality of colour in the Crayola Coloured Pencils as it is more vibrant and perfect for different artist techniques such as cross hatching, sgraffito, stippling, erasing out, gradual, scrumbling, layering, directional marks or burnishing.
If you are looking for inspiration to draw and paint flowers check out the Drawing and Painting Flowers with Coloured Pencils book by Trudy Friend. This book explains how different pencils and papers make a difference in the outcome of our art. The book also explains different techniques, how to start and complete the artwork, and more. I drew this image after being inspired by this book and then seeing a still image in our garden.

  16. I have always been a big fan of Crayola, they have never let me down. with other brands the pencils seem to have broken lead inside them and often fall out during sharpening and the crayons of others always seem to waxy
