Middle Eastern Egg beid bi tom recipe follows
Mothers must be celebrated everyday! In celebration, DK is hosting a Mother’s Day Boutique with a collection of inspiring and intriguing books that are 30% off for a limited time. These books such as Mediterranean Cookbook, Dressmaking, Ultimate Food Journeys, and The World's Must-See Places are for mothers of all ages and interests.

The Mediterranean Cookbook edited by Marie-Pierre Moine has authentic recipes from Italy, Tuscany, Provence, the Greek Islands, Morocco, Spain, Greece, Provence, northern Africa, and the Middle East. This book gives us the necessary tools to recreate the flavours of the Mediterranean in our own homes.
There are more than 300 fresh, healthy, and easy to make recipes such as Citrus Lamb Tagine and Leek Moussaka to Panzanella and Tzatziki. This book is a wonderful resource for families that want to eat fresh, fast, and healthy. My family enjoys Mediterranean food, and I enjoyed looking through the delicious recipes and pictures that has inspired me to make a variety of food. Here is a delicious, simple recipe from this book that we enjoyed, which would be perfect to serve mom for breakfast :)

To make this Middle Eastern Egg beid bi tom...

2 tbsp olive oil
knob of butter plus extra to serve
2 to 3 garlic cloves crushed
1 to 2 tsp sumac
8 eggs
1 tsp dried mint
salt

In a heavy bottomed frying pan, heat the oil and butter. Add the garlic and sumac and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until it begins to colour. Crack the eggs into a bowl and pour into the pan. Sprinkle mint over the eggs and cover the pan with a lid. Reduce the heat and cook until the whites are set. Sprinkle a little salt over the eggs and divide into 4 portions and serve with toasted and buttered flat bread.

Ultimate Food Journeys is the perfect book for food-lovers with an interest in travel and ardent travellers with a passion for food. Food does more than satisfy hunger, it awakens senses and becomes the touchstone of memory. There are over 500 full-colour photograph structured by continent. This captivating guide will take you on a mouthwatering journey of a lifetime, whether you yearn to sample the finest clam chowder in Boston, the tastiest sushi in Tokyo, or the best pizza in Naples. The book also has helpful sightseeing itineraries, hotel recommendations, and hundreds of restaurant choices. I like that the book is separated into continents and then within it to different countries. The section on the bottom that suggest how we can spend a day in a place, on what and where to check out, getting there, where to stay and the tourism site is useful.
The World's Must-See Places gives us a look inside over 100 magnificent buildings and monuments. Each featured sight in this book has been selected for its uniqueness, or its historical or architectural importance. Unique 3-D cutaway artworks take you inside each building while sidebars and text panels cover topics such as the architectural style of the building, the architect and his works, or historic events or people that shaped the building as we know it today.
I love to sew and have gone through many books to learn this art. I found this Dressmaking book by Alison Smith to be a wonderful handbook for anyone who has ever wanted to make, mend, customize or create clothes at home. This invaluable visual resource covers not only dressmaking essentials, such as hemming and hand stitching, sewers will discover what supplies to buy and how to use them as well as the best fabrics to choose. There is information on tools, fabrics, patterns, and basic techniques like stitching and seam allowances.
The fully illustrated step-by-step instructions on making a skirt, dress, blouse, pair of trousers, and jacket will inspire us to start making our own clothes. There are several customizable options. The book features over 1500 full colour images and photographs, with tips for repairing and restyling worn or old items.
This handy sourcebook also shows how to understand and alter commercial patterns as well as how to customize existing clothes to give them a new lease on life. Dressmaking provides amateur and seasoned seamstresses everything they need to know to make their own clothing.
