Making Brazilian Bracelets

making Brazilian bracelets
Making Brazilian Bracelets book by Florence Bellot gives us ideas to make gifts for friends and family, or for our self to make a stylish accessories. The necessary materials to make these gifts are inexpensive and easy to find. The book has five colourful threads, so we can start making bracelets right away. For me giving or getting friendship bracelets always brings happiness, as it shows how much we are cared for. I braided a napkin ring using five threads in three different colours and did a regular braid.

The book has Instructions for making Brazilian bracelets of various shapes and sizes decorated with crosses, zigzags, diamonds, dots, and even fish, and adorned with beads and charms. There are more than twenty projects and seventy-five different variations of bracelets, hair braids, and wraps shown, with step-by-step instructions. Intricate drawings, photos, and suggested colour combinations through the process is helpful.

From quick and simple braids to more intensive and elaborate crisscross wraps, we can choose a creative path to follow or just let our imagination take over. We can alter the suggested designs to make key chains, napkin rings, eyeglass straps, or even belt loops. Children and adults will enjoy creating new, exciting, and sometimes unexpected items following the instructions in this book.

  12. I live in the US. I used to make bracelets as a kid. My 2 daughters love making bracelets and jewelry. Seeing as though they're 6 and 18, this would be a good project to get them doing something together! Not much in common with such an age difference. My son might even make a few!!
