Learning about Saber-Tooth Tigers and stories from Berenstain Bears

The following two Berenstain Bear digital books teach our children good life lessons. The Berenstain Bears and the Tooth Fairy is about Sister Bear losing a tooth and gets a visit from the Tooth Fairy. She finds out that her best friend Lizzy got more money than her from the Tooth Fairy. It was neat to see and read how Mama Bear explain about the different funds Tooth Fairy gives.

This book opened up conversations with my children who don't believe in Tooth Fairies, as we discussed about different customs and traditions.
The Berenstain Bears Lose A Friend is about Sister Bear's heartbreak after losing her dear pet fish Goldie. This story teaches children how Sister Bear learns to cope with the loss.
This book teaches parents that it is better to confront children of the loss of a pet than replacing them so children can do proper rituals.
Both my children enjoyed reading and learning from the Smithsonian- Saber-Tooth Trap book. The story is about Saber-Tooth Tiger's wild hunt during the end of the Ice Age. It has lots of information about Saber-Tooth Tigers and a wonderful story for children to learn more about the Ice Age and Saber-Tooth Tigers.

  1. I love how the stories deal with real life situations and help explain them to little kids who may not quite understand. These stories are great for that
