Fabric Painted Pillow Cases

Children and adults alike will enjoy using stencils to make these unique, fabric painted pillow cases. My five year old son was happy with the results. He really enjoyed painting over the stencils and was very impressed with the final product when we removed the stencils.

Stencils
Tape such as painters tape
Fabric paint
Paint brushes
Thick cardboard
We used Plaid FolkArt painting stencils to do this project. Place the stencil on the working surface, in this case it was the pillow cases.
Use painters tape to hold the stencil in place. Using painters tape will allow us to easily remove the tape after the project finishes.
Put a cardboard underneath the painting surface so the paint does not seep through to the other side of the pillow case.
We used four different colours of fabric paint to colour this design.
Remove the stencil carefully and let the paint on the pillow case dry completely before washing it and using it.
