Having to deal with sensitive teeth is difficult especially when I have to avoid my favourite types of food. I find that when the weather gets chilly, my teeth get a little more sensitive. I avoid sour food like pickles, really sweet food and cold pop, as it bothers my teeth and brings back the sensitivity. I am glad I took the challenge to test the Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief.
I used the Colgate 360 Sensitive Pro-Relief manual toothbrush that has 48% softer bristles compared to an ordinary soft manual toothbrush. This type of soft bristle brush is recommended for sensitive teeth and gums.
The Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste has clinically proven Pro-Argin formula that gives our teeth the instant and lasting relief. Other sensitivity toothpastes contain potassium nitrate to numb the tooth nerve and mask the pain, which takes about 2 weeks for us to feel the relief. However, Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste plugs the channels that lead to sensitive tooth nerves and block the pain.
I applied a little bit of toothpaste with my fingertip and gently massaged the sensitive tooth for a minute and felt an instant relief. With regular use, the company says we will get long-lasting protection because this toothpaste shields and repairs sensitive teeth.
Overcoming life’s challenges is hard, but it makes us feel accomplished. There are many things big and small that I had to overcome in my life. A small challenge that I had to take part and not give up was removing wallpaper of an entire bedroom. It was frustrating to find out there were layers of different wallpaper underneath and everything had to come out. Once the tiring project was done there isn’t anything like the feeling of accomplishment.
Since many adults experience this short, sharp and unexpected pain of teeth sensitivity, they will find using Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste to be helpful to overcome their pain.
