Pair A Rafiki Friend Chain With A Me To We Card And Give Back Twice This Holiday

Me to We launches Track Your Impact greeting cards, which is available exclusively online at www.metowe.com and at Indigo Books & Music Inc. and Chapters locations in the Greater Toronto Area; it will be available in 78 locations Canada wide by the end of this month. This new line of socially conscious greeting cards makes a positive impact on the world by giving a gift, such as clean water, seeds for farming or school supplies to communities and families in need overseas.

Each Me to We Card has vibrant designs and positive messages that benefits international charity and educational partner, Free The Children. Every card comes with a unique eight-digit code that recipients enter online at www.trackyourimpact.com to see where their gift is being delivered in the world. There are six featured gifts, ranging from planting a tree, to giving a family access to clean water, medicine or seeds for farming, to providing a meal or school supplies for a child.  All gifts support Free The Children’s holistic and sustainable international development model, Adopt a Village

Me to We Card messages and colour schemes boast a bright, positive sentiment that appeal to everyone. Consumers can choose cards painted with pop-culture graphics like cupcakes and boom boxes, or youthful fonts outlined in chalk or vibrant colour streams. Collections range from styled themes such as the impact-inspiring World Changer, to the playful Chalkboard theme, to a Quotes collection with one quote penned by Craig Kielburger. A total of 52 different cards packaged within 10 collections have been designed for Indigo. Leading Canadian social stationary wholesaler, Paper E. Clips is the distributor for the envelopes and cards that are made on FSC-certified 100 percent recycled paper. Each card will retail for $4.95 each.

In true fashion of the gifting sentiment, Me to We Artisans' ABC Education Rafiki Friend Chain and Water Rafiki Friend Chain will also be part of the Track Your Impact program. The handmade Rafiki chain also available to purchase at Indigo Books will equip a child overseas with school supplies for one year or provide one person access to clean water for one year. The money also benefits the Artisan Mamas who make the chains in Kenya by empowering them, their families and their communities.
Despite the challenging events happening in Nairobi currently, the strong, resilient spirit of the community in Kenya is inspiring Free The Children to continue their help. Free The Children has been operating in Kenya since 1999 within the Narok South District, working with both Kipsigis and Maasai communities.

Give this Rafiki Friend Chain paired with a Me to We Cards to your loved ones, as this gift-set gives back twice.

  1. What a great idea! It's too bad it is mostly only available in TO - this would be wonderful to have across Canada to support the program.
